Huffington Post

The Huffington Post is a digital content company owned by BuzzFeed. This publication takes a “people-first approach” and covers “real stories about real life.”

From 2016-2017, I was a Teach Plus Policy Fellow. During that fellowship, I learned how to write op-eds. Teach Plus had a contributor account on the Huffington Post platform. Any article published through that platform now has this message, “This post was published on the now-closed HuffPost Contributor platform. Contributors control their own work and posted freely to our site.”

I did not submit my work to HuffPost. Teach Plus determined these articles below were worthy to be published via Teach Plus’ HuffPost contributor’s account. This is why the fact that I was a Teach Plus Policy Fellow is included in my third person biography on these articles.
