National Reading Month: Educator Barnes Reads – Peter’s Chair

Peter, the main character of Erza Jack Keats’ popular children’s book The Snowy Day, returns in another Keats children’s book Peter’s Chair.  Peter is a little older in this book and is now a big brother to baby Susie.  Peter becomes unhappy once he realizes his parents are reusing his items for his sister.  This is a great book to read to children to help them adjust to becoming an older sibling.

The Erza Jack Keats Foundation has resources available that accompanies this book.
