National Poetry Month: Educator Barnes Reads – Where the Sidewalk Ends

Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein is a book of poetry for children.  My copy of this book from childhood is so worn that the middle section is now disconnected from the spine of the book.   This book helped grow my love of poetry and showed me how much you could express through the poetic form.

In the video below, I shared two of my favorite poems from the book.
